About circaVie
Never forget another special memory. circaVie allows you to easily create multimedia timelines all about your life. Special events, noteworthy achievements, relationships, memorable vacations, interests and hobbies, celebrations, announcements … you name it. If it’s about life, it’s circaVie.
By creating a circaVie timeline and adding events to it, you’re automatically able to share your life and interests with your friends, your family and the rest of the world in a brand new way. You can think of circaVie as a souped-up, unique way of blogging, where you can seamlessly share photos, video and text that other users can comment upon. Your timelines are also portable and can be shared anywhere you like since they're all embeddable into your personal Web site, or online profile. Just create your timeline here and take it with you wherever you like!
For our beta release, all timelines are public and can be seen by any user, so please bear that in mind when creating your timelines. You do, however, have the ability to mark specific events on your timeline as private, and those events can only be seen by you, the author.
We’ll always provide you with a selection of featured timelines on the homepage, so you might want to get started by taking a look at some of them to see the full range of capabilities you have at your fingertips.
We encourage you to fill out your user profile as soon as you can in order to fully participate in the circaVie community. You’ll be assigned a “User_#” name by default, but you can change that to your name or an alias. Add a buddy icon and provide a brief bio while you're there.
We’ve already got a list of additional features we’re planning to bring to you in the coming months, including private timelines, where you can determine who can and can't see your content. We always welcome your feedback and suggestions for improvement, so please don’t be shy!
In the words of the eminent sage Ferris Bueller, “life moves pretty fast…if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
They’re the times of your life. You’ve already experienced them, and now it’s time to share those experiences with the world!
